Knovance (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds custom AI systems for businesses — chat widgets, voice bots, and automation systems. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you interact with our website, chat widget, or voice assistant, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
This policy applies to everyone who visits knovance.tech, talks to our AI chat widget, calls or is called by our voice bot (“Nora”), or submits a form on our site — regardless of where you live. Where a specific law gives you stronger rights, that law's rules apply on top of everything below.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to how we handle your personal data. Our lawful basis for processing your data is either consent (when you submit a form or start a chat/call) or legitimate interest (responding to a business inquiry you initiated). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing at any time — see “Your Rights” below for how to exercise these.
As an Indian company (Proovn Technologies, operating as Knovance), we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect and process your personal data only for the specified purpose you gave it to us for, with your consent, and we retain it only as long as necessary for that purpose. You may withdraw consent and request erasure of your data at any time, as described in “Your Rights” below.
We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or sensitive categories of data (health, biometric, etc.) through our website or bots.
Your data is stored with reputable, industry-standard cloud providers: MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), Railway (backend application hosting), and Vercel (frontend/dashboard hosting). All three providers maintain their own security certifications and encrypt data in transit and at rest. We do not run our own physical servers, and we do not store your data on any personal device.
